New York Central lot 782/ PC/CR N7 Bay Window Caboose. NYC-01

This caboose represents the most iconic and endearing piece of equipment to come from the great NYC, it has survived from the 50's when New York Central needed a caboose to replace its worn fleet of wood bodied cupola hacks to this era in use on shortlines and class one's as riding and shoving platforms.  
Other railroads cloned or copied the plan's for their own style of caboose and due to it's unique presence and style it has lived on as a staple for both young and old as a unforgettable caboose. 
This kit comes with injection molded resin castings and detail part's, one metal etching fret for a higher quality of appearance, detailed instructions, and proper caboose truck's for the 50's era as delivered. 
This kit can be built to represent any era of it's journey from the initial beginning to now by utilizing the included metal etchings, leaving the roofwalk and ladders off, upgrading the truck's and plating over windows.
